It may not be immediately noticeable when you enter Duynparc Soest, but if you enter the site, you will pass a completely renewed access control system unnoticed. The barrier systems are equipped with an advanced Salto system. Electronic door fittings and GEO cylinders have also been installed in the existing and new chalets. The result? Reliable, flexible and future-proof access to the park.

From failure to stability

Previously, Duynparc Soest worked with a system in which access control and door locks were linked to a central server from another supplier. This construction regularly caused problems: if the server went down or the network was unreachable, the door locks lost their connection, with all the consequences that entails.

With the switch to the Salto system, that is a thing of the past.

Offline door locks: always access, always safe

An important advantage of the Salto system is that the door locks function completely offline. The readers at the barrier are still connected online, but the door locks themselves work independently of a central server.

Access passes are pre-programmed and remain valid as long as necessary — even if there is temporarily no connection. This makes the system extremely robust and resistant to network issues.

Cable-free access — maximum flexibility

The strength of SALTO also lies in the simplicity of installation. Thanks to wireless technology, access control can be applied at almost any location in the park, even where there is no fixed cabling.

For example, consider:

  • Staff entrances at the edge of the site
  • Employee storage sheds
  • Free-standing sanitary facilities such as toilet blocks
  • Chalets spread across the site

This way, each building or access point has its own offline lock, without complex installation or dependence on a wired network.

Also arranged for late arrivals

For guests arriving outside reception hours, a special solution has been installed: an unmanned night porter box. This functions as a takeaway locker. Employees place keycards, documents or other items ready for guests here.

The guest receives a unique PIN code via email or text message and thus gets access to the contents of the box. Fast, secure and fully automated.

A park that's always open — for who's supposed to be there

With the new Salto system, Duynparc Soest has a smart, trouble-free and flexibly scalable access solution. Whether it's guests, staff or suppliers — from now on, access is always arranged, even if the network isn't.
