At Seijsener, we are proud of our partnership with Siblu, a French company with 23 holiday parks in the Netherlands and France. After a successful infrastructural project at Siblu Camping in the Bongerd in Oostkapelle (ZL), we were asked to also build the complete infrastructure for Siblu Meerwijck in Kropswolde (GR). The project included the expansion of the park with 33 all-electric chalets, fully ready for the new season.

Working with Siblu is always a pleasure“, says project manager Waldo Worms. ”As a project manager, you know where you stand, and there is a friendly atmosphere. This makes the work not only efficient, but also enjoyable..”

Complete, future-proof infrastructure

At Seijsener, we believe that a good infrastructure forms the basis for every campsite, motorhome park and holiday park. Our design team therefore pays a lot of attention to planning and developing every detail. For Siblu Meerwijck, this meant designing a complete, future-proof infrastructure. A challenge where we not only had to take into account current needs, but also future developments. Whether it was the capacity of the electrical installation, the efficiency of the water supply network, the sustainability of the sewerage system or smart site lighting - every aspect had to be carefully considered and integrated into the overall design.

The project for Siblu Meerwijck included four crucial aspects of modern camping infrastructure:

  1. Electrical installation: A complete electrical system for 33 chalets, connected to a new transformer with main distributor. Each site was equipped with a 3x25A connection with a MID approved electronic kWh meter.
  2. Drinking water pipeline: Build an extensive network of Kiwa-approved pipes, complete with shut-off valves, check valves and water meters for each chalet.
  3. Sewage pipeline: A free-flowing sewer system, including inspection wells and discharge points, to ensure efficient drainage.
  4. Site lighting: Light towers that we reused from another Siblu park. → This is how we meet the ESG goals together!

It took some time to get it finished before the season.,” Waldo laughs,”but thanks to our experience and thorough preparation, we were able to deliver everything well on time.

Full-service partner

Our team of experts provided accurate calculations and engineering. From voltage loss calculations to pressure loss calculations for the water pipeline - every aspect has been carefully calculated to ensure optimal performance.

What sets Seijsener apart is that we have almost everything in-house,” Waldo explains. ”We are a full-service partner and not only supply the hardware, but we invent, design, manufacture and execute everything ourselves - from the first sketch to the last screw. All of this allows us to unburden customers and provide insight into complex projects.”

The result is a high-quality, future-proof infrastructure that enables Siblu Meerwijck to offer their guests a comfortable stay. Waldo looks back with satisfaction:”This project at Siblu Meerwijck shows what we can achieve with good cooperation and technical expertise. We look forward to continuing to support Siblu in future developments.

At Seijsener, we remain committed to quality and customer satisfaction. Whether it's a small updateproject or a complete park renovation, we are ready to turn your infrastructural challenges into sustainable and future-proof solutions.
