Located in the West Frisian meadow landscape, Recreation Park Burghorn is located in Schagen. “The relationship with Seijsener dates back generations.,” says Arjan Broers from Burghorn Recreation Park. “All drawings are well documented, you'll enjoy them later.” This long collaboration started in the 1980s, when Seijsener provided the original electrical installation.
After nearly four decades of loyal service, it was time for a thorough evaluation. During a NEN 3140 inspection by our inspectors, it turned out that the old electrical installations were in need of an upgrade. In addition, there was the wish for modern MID-approved kWh meters.
“Seijsener makes a good set-up and presents a planning overview.,” explains Broers. “Beforehand, we also checked on site whether the preparations were carried out correctly by us, in order to carry out smooth work..”
According to Broers, the energy market has become hectic:”A clean measurement is important. We can also install solar panels. Because we are affiliated with the GreenKey, we also want to give our guests the space to save and reduce our purchase here. A safe and approved installation is also becoming increasingly important, especially due to liability.”
We are replacing a large part of the existing electrical cabinets with new ones at the same locations. This way, the familiar layout of the recreation park remains intact, while the electricity supply is being renewed. “The old cupboards will last a long time.,” Broers notes,”but because the meters are much smaller, we decided to tackle everything at once. Ultimately, the new cabinets are made of the same material and the purchase price was not too bad for us.“
In addition to replacing the cabinets, we are also making a limited improvement in the cable network for a better and more stable power supply.
Broers sees an interesting challenge for the future in responding to guests' needs:”Guests want to be able to manage their space remotely, for example, set up the resume, monitor the yield of solar panels, and have camera supervision over the site and in the chalet. As a result, our service is coming under more pressure.”.
With this upgrade, we ensure that Recreation Park Burghorn can go ahead for years with a reliable and efficient electricity installation. Are you also curious about what Seijsener can do for your recreation company? Please feel free to contact us for an informal conversation.
